Voices of Time

Missing image
Eternal voices are heard
day by day, hour by hour
throughout the universe
in their primal power.

Anguished voices in death
will suffer no more,
as legions of voices
with angels now soar.

Ghostly rivers always
flow to the sea,
as voices yet speak
to set us all free.

The cry for justice
throughout history
within voices of time
is martyrdom's victory.

A mighty nation rises
and voices now sing
as liberty finally sails
on the eagle's wing.

And many voices now
come together as one
proving to the world
freedom & justice has won.

Voices need not fall on deaf ears, if only we sing loud enough. We must never give up. Great poem

"as liberty sails on the eagle's wing." You've captured the intense feeling of celebration in the recent US election, and hopes that soared when the vote count was declared. Will this vote provide a suitable acknowledgement of past wrongs and provide a remedy, and will it go on to right some of the other wrongs of humanity. We will have to wait and see.
