Winter cold that comes
I'll welcome you again.
Fall gently upon this pain I feel,
and freeze this ache within.

Kiss me with gentle snowflakes that fall.
Take wind to my heart,
and erase the memory of it all.

Tear asunder the lies that I have believed
Thaw no more the breaking of my heart.
Bury me with the falling of the leaves.

Let snow forever cover my grave.

    Ah! But the treasure that left such damnable pain.
    If in disgraceful deceptions froze a heart it slayed.
    Wasn't it a better feather in your cap?
