Inside the hovel shack she stood,
he's leaving now, but not for good;
teachers found too rare to find,
his journey starts, we're left behind.
A fairer life to find ahead,
fairer for now, an empty bed;
for want of learning, want of more.
His quest, discerning a distant shore.
When fortune calls the mind to leave,
and fortune falls on who'll believe;
then travel calls their minds to go,
when to return, they will not know;
No such endings they will own,
but seedlings bending, where they're sown;
for soil that's shared, communion grips,
no memory spared while on these trips.
For now, a wave, a kiss goodbye,
that frees the slave, good reasons why;
for now, a parting time is due,
sadness departing, but missing you.

Such a flowing rhyme and to impress me with rhyme is never an easy thing lol but this does and I loved it. Thank you so much for this entry.
