Regrets

Crimson skies
Black seas
She walks along these shores.

Red sand between her toes,
Shards of glass piercing her heels

Trapped by the memories of her own regrets,
Memories that won't fade away
Haunting her forever more.

Such vivid imagery here! You've captured regret in the most painful terms. This is haunting, to say the least. Well written.

This is absolutely brilliant, Oh God, I wouldnt even think of writing like this...red sand, wow, lovely! and then I realise why? wow girl! one more thing, I like the flow of this, totally cool, your rhyme wasnt intentional, but it sounds so fit!

Deep, sad, and I love it, I love the red between her toes, no I am not sadistic, but I love the art you created here!

    Love and light,
    lencio

Strong emotions, deep and dark. Beautiful imagery, and an almost perfect flow made this poem the art that it is. Keep it up! And good luck in the contest!
