Peeling an orange,
an old extended image,
a pack of modifiers,
and reading the New York Times.
Stark signs of slowdown,
Wall street rises after report
on economy, a small party
pushes to be a statewide force,
Gore to campaign for Obama,
for Tracy Morgan, every day is a show.
Zombies re-enact thriller videos,
track fuel efficiency with an iPhone,
the MacBook Makeover,
a big banker speaks out.
Toss a coin to read or not.
Hudson suspect refuse polygraph test,
swedish Nuclear Plant posted cleaners
as guards, economy contracts
as consumers retreat.
Toss a coin to read or not!
Plastic surgeons, not immune from slump,
clues to help explain the frequency of injuries,
supernatural cleaning methods,
persuading bulbs to bloom
from another time and place.
Win or lose, many see Palin as future of party,
Time Inc. plans about 600 layoffs,
AIG has used billions from fed
but hasn’t said, an interview with Eva Green,
rimless glasses are back as fashion statement.
Little noticed student to star politician
Alaska inquiry concludes she abused
powers, repeatedly pressed
case against trooper, and hired
friends and lashed foes.
Novice stands her ground on Veterans turf,
a makeover with an ugly gloss!
Accounting changes help Duetsche Bank
avoid loss, Fed trims Key rate by half percent,
Governors call for rescue package for states,
Fannie to write down deferred tax assets,
Colgate-Palmolive beats expectations.
Bomb attacks in India kills atleast 67,
suicide blast rocks ministry in Kabul.
Peeling a rotten orange,
an old extended image,
a pack of modifiers,
a lighter.

Some things never change, but at least a poet is writing about it today. Wonder if we'll ever change the world again, or if poetry today is little more than faddish? Thanks for this write. Many strong points were profoundly addressed.
