When you look in my direction,
You can never see
Who I truly am inside.
You just try to label me
Strait? Gay? Girl? Boy? Child or Adult?
You have never cared
To let reality colour your views,
Even when my soul lays bared
You have such a simple view.
What is Wrong and Right
Is as clear to you as day from dark
In your world of back and white.
I hide my truth and never tell.
Never see the sun.
But my mask has cracks and now you see
Now all Hell has begun
Can you truly not love me,
But prefer the lie?
Please tell me soon and end my pain
Please set me free to fly

I absolutely loved the last two stanzas....it seems the most powerful secrets are the ones left unsaid, even though all parties are aware of it....the words left unsaid sometimes hurt the most....thanks for entering!
