Leave me here,
beneath the shadow moon,
I want to remember
the light of your
love,
The only heat,
I have ever warmed to,
I can see you still,
Your smile
that spoke of summer,
I can still feel,
the weight
of your words,
that kept me
anchored safely
in your arms,
Your love was
strong as the mountains,
Above the stormy seas roar,
across the timeless sands,
I still hear your voice,
vibrant with teardrops
when you spoke
of leaving,
You have gone,
but you are still here,
A ghost white butterfly,
flying in and out
of my thoughts,
feeding on
the nectar of my soul,
between heartbeats

Beautiful wording and images.....I especially like,
'A ghost white butterfly,
flying in and out
of my thoughts,
feeding on
the nectar of my soul,
between heartbeats '.......so lovely!
best wishes in your contest.
