Darling, I forgot to ask.
How does your blood taste?
Will it slide over my burning lips
to light my throat and my heart ablaze?
Could it instill in me that which I love in you?
My blood is a poison, and tastes wretched,
it suits a soul such as mine.
This sanguine liquid does not slide,
but you're right to say that it burns.
To drink is not to instill, it is to make stronger.
Angel, I forgot to ask.
How will your flesh feel against mine?
Might it tempt and taunt me?
Afterwards, will I always beg for more?
I've no wish to become a slave to my desires.
An electric current, perhaps a repulsion.
We are opposites of course, we might even attract.
In the back of your mind, you already ask for pleasure.
Who knows if your thirst can be sated?
Slavery! Fear not, dearest. You have already given in.

Excellent. I love the conversation, portrayed in different colours to show the question and response. Brilliant vocabulary used here, the use of sanguine and it created a brilliant image.

very tasty and tantalising. -
Very daring work. It's deep and dark. I felt for a moment I was watching this take place in a play perhaps. Nice work here. Keep on sharing.

Well done, i like the doom feeling it leaves and how it is infact a greatly written duet!
