Steal it...this heart
and flee
before the gallows
bind you
and nevermore
will you know
thy breath
tender it with love
that devors
the heart in whole
demand from it
passion
seal it with a kiss
from your two lips
convey to all
you are the owner
the possessor
shield it from agony
and sadness
protect it from
any and all sorrow
fill it's emptiness
with dreams
of what we will be
pleasure it with
promises
yet to be filled
I have just this one
living and breathing
heart to give away
I chose you
to be the one
to have and hold
forever
press it softly
to your two lips
feel it's life
each beat it makes
know it as a
living and breathing
part of love
So hurry now
steal it...this heart
and flee
before the gallows
bind you
and nevermore
will you know
thy breath...

Here is your comment:
Devores, should be devours.
I believe.
Watch your capitalization at the end, the two S's.
Unless of course, there's a reason for that.
You may confuse the reader, you might want to be consistant with your capital letters.
Overall, a great poem.
Wonderful flow with a few minor flaws, but nothing is perfect.
Good message, cute.
I enjoyed it -
very good
i love the way you put things
