No, the passing of a loved one
wouldn't be our chosen way;
It's not known by living through it
that that day's a better day.
Men are born but unto trouble
as the flying sparks ascend,
yet this life is but a vapor
that will have its sudden end.
Soon the molecules of memories
aim to rob our hope and peace;
We succumb to time's cruel bondage
on the day of one's decease.
Oh, but there, what great rejoicing
that the death of someone brings,
When one sheds his earthly body-
passed away are former things;
All the crying is forgotten,
all the pain will cease to be;
He will skip on golden sidewalks
in celestial liberty.
Seeing sights we can't imagine,
Free from sin and death and hell;
He will meet the Risen Saviour-
Oh, the stories He could tell!
Soon the term of life is over,
then our souls will fly away,
Where we'll reunite in Heaven-
Yes, that day's a better day.

"The righteous perishes,And no man takes it to heart; Merciful men are taken away, While no one considers That the righteous is taken away from evil."--Isaiah 57:1
The goodness of God is such is that He can use tragedy for good. Death is no longer our threat, but our vehicle to Him.
Death was seen from the back on B.C. side of the cross. We now see it from this side, because Death has no grip of fear on us because of that same cross.
While this is true, we are still going to grieve. We just do not grieve as those who have no hope.
May Daniel's family be so comforted. They may probably meet him later, with him ready to give a tour of their Destination. For him, it will seem but a moment waiting for that even, for them it will have been a lifetime.
