Death's Wedding

Tossed upon the
sandy ground,
screaming to the broken
music that makes
no sound.
A silver ring
breaks upon the wake,
shattered as it's
your life they take.
Broken promises
extinguish an everlasting
heat
that's when her fragile
heart ceased to beat.
She was
meant to rejoice as
the sun was setting,
but instead she was the
bride of
death's wedding.....
