Pumpkins carved, chippings scattered all over the table.
Eyes and nose with sharp spiky head. Oh, I can feel the power being led
it's soon taking shape, with the smile that it makes.
Just a finishing touch and I'm almost done
really enjoyed that cutting up fun
but then 'twas an air of spookiest feel
I think it is finished but I think it is real
‘I am human and I need to be loved’ 'I’ve waited too long for this life’.
get my candle and light, this magical night, yes, I can see you now,
you're mixing the cauldron with sweets and candy.
Lollipops strewn my favourite treat,
cherry laced with apple yes, that is what I like to eat.
I’ll float it over with the power of my mind,
Oh no, here I go, well that’s no surprise.
I’ll just wait for the door
my lollipop will then be moved secure.
The night draws near and darkness falls, spectres, apparitions ghostly calls,
The timing is all, need to move fast those tasty lollipops are not going to last
I'll just take it slow, as they’ve started to call, wizards, trolls, ogres, spectres and all, Handfuls of sweets were grabbed and stored, now's the chance to strike at the hoard, here it comes I'm fixating the power, wrappings discarded ‘tis the magical hour.
Mmmmmm Yummy my treat which I’ll soon devour ..
Uurggh, yuck, bleurk splutter, aargh,
this lollies not cherry laced with apple delight, but more like cabbage water that's been stewed overnight
