Guess Who?

I am.

Intelligence, love, gentleness.

I love to be cuddled and kissed.

Veggies are important to me.

Cardboard boxes are important to me.

Bedtime snacks are important to me.

Nibbling on things is naughty

But it keeps my teeth healthy.

Books are wonderfully tasty.

Sofa’s so soft and bouncy!

Sleeping in Hannah’s arms.

I am.

Author notes

Thank you for your review and applause! Very pleased that you enjoyed it. No pet like a bunny, in my opinion. She was, indeed, completely adorable.

This sums up everything about a pet rabbit that I could think of. It sounds like you have a nice little friend there.

I like how you kept it short but said everything that needed to be stated. That is a good skill to have.

The sweetness of this poem is great, and gives you a heart warming feeling.

Thank you for stopping by to read, and thank you for the review! The form of the bio-poem forces the writer to be short and concise. Good practice, I guess! I liked the challenge. Thanks for the kind words.

  • Aw, soo cute.. I love bunny rabbits.. Had one as a child.. Very nicely written..

  • At first I thought A hamster!

But, of course - it's a rabbit. Hmmm - are they in the same family? I think they are in the same family.
Cute poem - loved reading it! Thanks for sharing.

Yep, I knew it was a bunny, they love to chew. A friend of mine here has a pet bunny and I wrote a haiku about cooking ther bunny, lol Ok, I can be a little evil sometimes.

Thanks for the applause! Bunnies make adorable pets. (Yes... it's definitely the sign of an evil streak, to write a poem about stewing your friends' bunny!)

Aww, this was so adorable. Rabbits are my favourite kind of pet...seeing as how I can't have an orca whale, haha.

Anyway, I thought this type of poem was unique and very enjoyable. Kind of like a poetic 'I spy.'

Yes, I thought it was a bunny at first.

very cute, and thanks for sharing! I love bunnies too. Have you ever held your bunny in you lap on his/her back and rub the head. It hypnotises them. It is good to know to calm him/her down.

No, I never tried that; but then I never needed to calm her down. She loved to take naps in our arms, on our laps, and on my bed. Irresistably endearing! =) Thanks for the applause!

Yes, well, she ate the binding off a number of books, chewed the leg of an armchair, and bit into electric cables! She always knew it was a "no, no" but until you were within reach of her she'd keep at it. =D

I have never had a pet rabbit. I had a friend who did though. She really loved hers....it surprised me how affectionent (hope I spelled that right) they are. This poem is wonderfully written. I loved every line of it. Has a very peaceful tone to it.

I have never had a bunny-rabbit for a pet. From the way you describe bunny-rabbits, I think it would be wonderful to have one for a pet.

Ooh, you have a rabbit? That's so cool! Yes, I can see how Button would like veggies and to chew on things. Typical bunny instinct. He must be cute.

Well... sadly, HAD a rabbit. She died a year and a half ago. She was the sweetest thing! I really miss her. Use to play with her every night before going to bed and she'd end up going to sleep in my arms just like a baby, and with all her paws sticking up. Utterly adorable.
Thanks for the review and the applause! Nice to hear from you again.
