Thanksgiving Weekend 2008

Thanksgiving weekend is almost here
yes, once again that time of year

its going to start with long a packing frenzy
moving fallowed by
a long 10 hr drive home to Utah
unload the trailer and hit the sack  

on thanksgiving day its time to relax

family gathering together at grandma's house
spilling gravy on my nice blouse

the children screaming while we all visit
it's nice to be home. isn't it?

unload the storage unit and pack things tight
that will probably take from morning til night

the next day we will spend with the other half of the family
my sisters will be happy to see me

When Monday comes we load back in the truck
another long drive, bad weather is just our luck

finally make it home late on Monday night
time to get back into things
just for 20 days until we leave again
headed home for Christmas Vacation
