Vintage wish

Desires nurtured
since birthday of memory,
a comrade through sunsets,
long lonely moonlit yawns.

Wrinkling under cocoons of mistrust,
Gossamer of wings
perforated by misunderstanding,
a souvenir of heart
till my last breath.

    I love your thoughts
    best wishes Julie

  • "birthday of memory" That sounds so positive but then the wrinkled cocoons and the perforated misunderstanding are kind of negative. It's a combination of both. Like life? Just a guess.

Yup..just like life, it offers stuff which go against our plans often...perhaps all for the better, but the momentary confusion and pain still prevades....
