On a bridge between two heartbeats
I stand beneath a sigh
thoughts of love, forgotten
slowly wander by.
Questions walking hand in hand
should and who and why ?
While answers sleep just waiting
with dreams that say goodbye.
Confusion paints a canvas
with colours still unknown
while thoughts grow, undecided
naked and alone.
Footsteps leading nowhere
tread within my mind
feelings watch, expectant
as love waits unassigned.
Take me where my answer lies
my heart becomes a plea
open wide my eyes with truth
show me what will be.
On a bridge between two heartbeats
with you now by my side
I wait for new tomorrow's
doubt within me died.

It almost brought a tear to my eye! It was simply just heartbreaking yet put my heart back together at the same time.
