Remembrance

I remember when
  everyday you'd call too early
  you waited until I awoke
   you pleaded with my mother to let me play

I remember when
  everyday we'd play out our favorite books
   you'd get me into trouble
    you'd get me out of trouble

I remember when
  everyday we talk and walk for hours
   you shared your secret of secrets
    you embaress yourself infront of me

I remember when
  everyday we watched each other grow
   you'd boss me around
    you'd love me fully

I remember when
  everyday went away
   you and I were lost as friends
    you and I moved away

I remember when
  everyday a new hope bloomed
   you heard I was back in town and school
    you prayed for the same class as me

I remember when
  every year was different
   but when we had time together
    we'd click like we did as kids

I remember when
  I found the true love of my life
   as well did you
    and I ruined a second chance

I remember when
  we were so close again
   but my future suffered severly
    while I sharpened the knives

I remember when

  I finally saw who was right

   a third final chance was given

    but you were associated

  everyday a new hope bloomed
   this time not to come true
    you and I are lost as friends

Since second grade
You and I were the bestest of the best
But now as weddings are nearing
It's hard to stay so much in love
You've been my best friend
But there's so much turmoil and hate
We need to let go of each other
For happiness to overtake
I love you
But true love overrules all
Perhaps we'll hear the other is back in town
And click like we did as kids.
Like we remember when.
