The white flag of surrender is stained Red
Somehow the price of freedom has become war
Yet another head rolls…
The stained flag remains unseen
Yet another head rolls…
Fight for freedom or fighting freedom, all the same
When the price of freedom is war
Yet another head rolls…
The white armour of the valiant knight is stained

This piece was very well written and speaks much of the futility of war and how we must not allow it to destroy our freedom which we treasure so much. So many lives lost to war, to freedom, to the senseless circle that seems never ending. Wonderful indeed.

How many times does red stain for the good cause. This is very well-written and puts me in mind of "The Troubles" in Ireland, and many, many other causes that took their toll in blood. Very well done
