Limbs perfectly sway
beneath the crescent moon
Scent of lavender
now overfills the room
Windows are cracked
the winds are chilly tonight
Sweet sounds of the owl
that is perched in the moonlight
Two souls, connecting,
as eye into eye they gazed
Holding hands, a single kiss
set these hearts ablaze
The future holds true today
wrapped in a passionate embrace
Yesterday no longer exists
as they study the others face
Changes from yesterday
grew in to today's new dream
and forever is easier today
because love's an never ending stream
Rocking back in forth in rhythm
they stared out into the view
A home of some thirty years
proved their love to be true
