I realize that both of us
have never really been that close.
I see you would destroy yourself
and not accept help you were granted.

and never took the time to appreciate.
The people that surrounded you
but now you're forced into reality.
We found our prior relationship
seemed to be the same.
We didn't hate them as a person
yet we hate what they had done.
We'd like to resolve
our differences with people that we care for.
So we rushed it and we lost it

This one goes out to a girl I've always loved, and I'm glad to see she's finally exhibiting the potential I knew she had.
We were always off in our little world, and I have to admit, I got a bit teary eyed in our extensive conversations with each other today. She's gonna have a baby soon, and if it's dad isn't around to raise it, I'll help her. She's done a bit of proving, in the fact that she acknowledges and owns up to her mistakes.
I will help anyone that chooses to work with me and not against me. Candice, I love you, PLEASE PLEASE PLEEEEEASE don't look back or let me down now.

sometimes it is hard when people dont live up to certain expectations, but we have to be careful of exactly what we expect since not everyone has the same capabilities or viewpoints... or are ready. Anyways I degress...
it is nice to know that there are those like you who appear to be generous in nature. Just remb that everyone has to make decisions and mistakes of their own to learn.
