Trivial things can have
momentous consequences.
Take the last supper:
if Jesus had pointed to the lamb
when he said, “This is my body”
instead of the unleavened bread,
Holy Communion
would be so much more enjoyable,
and mint jelly would be sacramental.
But on the other hand,
thank God, Jesus didn’t tell the waitress,
“I’ll just have a glass of water.”
