The innocence of children

She looked lovingly down upon him,

Blond hair and daddies eyes

Full of hope and hunger

Taking his hand and blinking away the tears

She walked on

Even doughnuts were a luxury

    I like this

A postmodern view of innocence in childhood. A stark contrast to the metaphysical views of 16th century english writters such as Treherne. Written with a darkness which is just reality.

I like this though having had a taste i want more. Its your own fault for being so engaging when you write. Well done x x x

Oh this is so sad, how many kids in this current economic climate will go through this situation soon. Best to you in the contest
