I run my nails upon my skin
And think of the song you sing
I lower my head and open my eyes
To watch the rain drip from my wings
I look up to you to see your smile
And your hand reached out to me
Then you turn around and pick me up
For all the world to see
You spin me round and start to dance
To a song without a tune
You look at me and I see your eyes
That shine as bright as the moon
I listen hard but cannot hear
The song we’re dancing to
I look around and then I see
We’re dancing among the few
They also dance to the song you hear
But in a different way
They take a break within a step
And then they start to sway
Then I realize that they don’t break
It’s us who always go
You pull me close then calm your steps
And spin me nice and slow
My wings unfold yours do the same
And we dance into the air
You hold me close and make me feel
That it’s just too much to bare
We reach the stars and say to me
“With you I have no fear”
And on that night I danced with my love
To a song I could not hear

Well. That was very beautiful. It held a lot of emotion and was extreamly descriptive. I could feel them danceing next to me...i could hear the pattern o the footsteps. Oh how amazing. good luck in the contest.
