Falling backwards as
Devil wings tip
Across my icy skin
Freezing me in a permanent state of
Fear and
Agonizing despair----
Whispered lies swallow me,
Threatening to engulf
Me whole, and
Caging me successfully....
...in the realms of absolute darkness

I really enjoyed this. It's very fascinating and frightening all the same. the last line is superb, a fantastic finish to a glorious and dark edged poem.
