Here comes the hand of sunshine
Piercing the bold, strong misty veil,
And spreads a glow on the carpet green
Drenching the land with the daytime's gold..
As if tickled by a hand unseen
Many a flower unfold their petals
Releasing the scent of joy on earth..
There's a young flower blushing well..
Chirping birds.. flooding the air with mirth;
This late October's dawn
sees a maiden in that cornered isle..
As if tickled by a hand unseen
She sighs, in shyness she smiles..
Treasuring the bliss of her concealed dreams..

Hood Wink!
Absolutely gorgeous, this breathes life onto the page and the words seem to flow from the picture itself so softly

You paint a nice picture of Fall. This is a popular picture. It was a prompt for the New Members contest in October. I wonder if this poem came from that.

I really like the journey that you take the reader on in this poem
- the picture is beautiful and fitting to the poem - the last line is just like a sigh - and I loved the read
Keep writing

A very refreshing take on the theme of October with its maiden cornered, blushing and treasuring her concealed dream which reminded me of Mary as she approaches delivery at Christmas... Thank you for this lovely entry.
