the words were never spoken
one more unnecessary
we both knew how it was
like kinder spirits in the wind
each had found the comfort
we desperately had needed
within those stolen moments
our souls said our goodbyes

Such a sad piece, I think all of us at some time may have felt something similar to this, there was so much emotion, it stopped me. Best to you in the contest

I felt this piece so intensely..It touched on so many feelings that I have had from different experiences.. You used simple words that said so much and I think relate to so many people.
Very well done...Good luck in the contest.

Them needs to be 'those' or 'the' for correct grammar and I don't think 'another is well placed, it is kind of awkward, perhaps 'too' would be better for the flow...sad when love ends and it happens way to often.
C Good luck.

wow
(can i keep you ?) thanks for the catch's and yes they sound better now so a million thanks........and too true love when it ends can be hurtful and distructive to oneself......but the world would be a worse place without love in it......nothing is perfect.......but would we want perfection if it was offered ? i know i wouldnt....... -

You are welcome hun, anytime although I often hesitate as some don't like to know but I am always of the opinion that other eyes often catch what an author does not lol happens on mine all the time. Feel free to ask me
