Maybe I'm Sick
I know I should ask for help
But I'm scared
That means admitting I have a problem
Which I don't want to do
My stomach aches
My head is spinning
It takes every ounce of energy I have
To walk up stairs
I bruise easily, everywhere
And I'm losing weight
IHardlyEat...

Words that don't want to be written
The idea of this poem is to say that the narrator does not want to admit they has a problem - but of course by penning the poem they do so. I especially like the last verse - there's an effective emphasis on "aches" and "spinning" and it ends with a chilling link to the modern issue of anorexia.
