Sometimes I think I'm better off without a mind

Sometimes I think I'm better off without a mind
I wouldn't remember or feel the pain inside
It'd rather not show
Sometime I feel I'm better off without a clue
Of who you're with and what he's doing to you
I'd rather not know

I'd rather not know
And stay oblivious
And go about the day
As everyone is
I'd rather not see
Please take my eyes
And plug my ears
Won't hear the lies

Sometimes I think that I'm better off dead
At least then I'd have a reason to loose my head
Beats it hanging low
Sometimes I believe that I do not have a life
So what's the point in sticking around for the night
I should probably go

I'd rather not know
And stay oblivious
And go about the day
As everyone is
I'd rather not see
Please take my eyes
And plug my ears
Won't hear the lies

Right now I believe that I should stay mute
And not say another fucking word to you
But it wasn't long ago
Right now I believe I should for get the past
And convince myself that we'd never last
Say it isn't so

I'd rather not know
And stay oblivious
And go about the day
As everyone is
I'd rather not see
Please take my eyes
And plug my ears
Won't hear the lies

very depressing but I think like this some times.. thinking about the past. Is never a good idea unless it makes you happy..

I enjoyed this, it entailes a lot of emotion. It is very well written. I loved 'Sometimes I think that I'm better off dead
At least then I'd have a reason to loose my head' most of all. i thought those lines were utter genius. I have but one little problem you need to put your user name in the author notes
