Loving Spirit

Missing image

Loving spirit through our friendship found

a gentleman you are whom is sound

Just appreciating the kind soul you are

having blessed my life much by far

Taking the time to encourage another

where others would say it's a bother

Reading your poetry and love for our Lord

has made us friends of one accord

Just wanted to let you know I care

heart with soul I do also bare

Our love for the Lord is definitely real

wishing you many blessings is the deal

On this journey I've come to know

that writing poetry is not a show

it's being bare naked in which souls appear

in the Lords loving spirit have no fear

Thank you. I did not expect to be so affirmed in poems. This piece brightens my mood and warms my heart.
I appreciate the love for God conveyed in this as well as the friendship expressed.
You certainly have described real intimacy - letting our naked souls appear.

Yeah This is a good write...and my fav line is
that writing poetry is not a show
it's being bare naked in which souls appear

and this being the only reason I cannot read my writes to anybody. I fell the nakedness of my soul in my writes.
Totally in LOVE with this 1....

Very sweet. You capture the depths of your spirit in this one -- that is the most difficult thing there is -- self revelation.

    Well done.
