Unspoken

Days go by like slow mists
Blurring away all I could be
Which to become someone
That maybe you would see

The nights aren't so bad
And an ocean isn't so wide
The water isn't too cold
As it washes up with the tide

Remaining a perfect flicker
Stars don't burn so bright
Too far from human reach
But not enough to be light

I stare up at this illusion
That plasters itself so proud
A piece seems to fly by my face
Creating my perfect, star-lit shroud

And on a night as such

One thing keeps surfacing
One thing I cannot repress
No matter how deep buried
Just one thought that insists to egress
