Area Rug

This carpet is stained
with substances unknown
many things have spilled
and so much dirt
is embedded beneath
the woolen fibers
speaking in a language
of dust
where microscopic organisms
breed

there is a hidden meaning to this, not so obvious... but I'll leave it up to the readers interpretation...if you'd like to know my intended hidden meaning, message me and I'll gladly indulge you

    I love complex poetry like this, something that will acually make me think about the possiblities. I could relate this 'rug' to my body, and all the stains as the drugs, and problems getting bigger and bigger, but it is a write that can appeal to more than one story, making it a successful peice. The style in which it's written gives it a mysterious type of wanting for the reader, almost making the reader want more. A great job, and best of luck come judging time.
