What do you think?1
When I say the word chicken, what do you imagine?
Food or an animal that could be loved
And they call us loving2
When I say the word black, who do you see?
A slave or a professor working hard
And we say we’re equal3
When I say Africa where does your mind go
To poverty or the mighty pyramids
And we think we know the world4
But When I say peace, what do you see
A future or-
A wish
And we know it is both5
We build towards a future, where we can all feed
The chickens to the poor,
And I called man selfish6
When a man has some money, where does it go?
To their pocket or to poverty
Would that have happened if we thought instead of pyramids?
I thought you’re unappreciative7
If there was no sins for Jesus to die for
Would he have come?
Would we have known?
I thought we should have been perfect.8
If there was no hell, would there be a real heaven?
That man can appreciate?
Or a different earth9
If there was no scar, would we know how to heal?
Or bask in fragile existence
And we hate pain so much10
Is the world so horrible?
Or is it Perspective?
For if there was no death, would we truly know
How lucky we are to be alive?11
So when you think of perfection, what do you see?
Heaven or Hell?
I see our Earth.
