Son Of Man
An eternal soul embodied
On a preliminary mission came
To give freedom to the prisoned
To deliver our souls from shame
The son of a poor carpenter
And a humble virgin
Grew up to a wise teacher
Condemning the old rugged scripture
Mercy and love were his preaching’s
To a cruel hearted nation
Cured the sick, rose up the dead
Delivered the souls from damnation
His words with sovereignty dazzled
Pharicies, commandors and priests
Too blind to comprehend his mission
They plotted on him a vicious scheme
With 30 coins of silver
The disciple sold his master
Delivered the son of man
To the hands of cruel laughter
Betrayed by his student
Denied by his disciples
Mocked by the nation
He’s left to the verdict of rivals
His gentle flesh harshly lashed
With sharp edged whips
His Holy crown enwreathed
Thorns of thistle darkened his glimpse
Then brutally upon a cross was thrown
Nailed with rusty nails his joints
Screams of hurt his soul moaned
Bloods flowing from head to kneels
His sufferings were our salvation
From hell’s flaming fires
He suffered and died to deliver us
From the damnation of our desires
