She

She steals the night
She steals the light,
She steals everything that comes her way.
She captures eyes
She captures hearts
She captures all the broken souls,
So you better pray

Death is coming after you
Darkness will cover you
The cold will freeze you
Into the dark shadows of Death’s arms

She rips your heart into pieces
She feeds on your flesh
She drinks your life-giving blood,
To possess eternal youth and beauty
She stares at you, and smiles at you,
She then gives her gratitude

Death is coming after you
Darkness will cover you
The cold will freeze you
Into the dark shadows of Death’s arms

Author notes

I have always been interested in the story of Erzebet Bathory, her family , etc. It is great to see a contest about her! Hahaha. I did not want to make this extremely dark( torture etc.) and of what really happened. Instead, I wrote a song that was inspired by Elizabeth. I hope you enjoy reading this. (Fingers crossed for a Vlad the Impaler contest next Hahaha)

I just realized you are a champ at dark poetry. I don't see much love stuff coming out, what's up Ylova? Write something romantic too? I don't know the story of Elizabeth Bathory, so I'll just google it. But I can tell you did a wonderful job at summarizing what she was like. So..great work! Congratulations on the bronze too!

    WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!

I have never heard the story but your words are self explanitory, one who only gives out pain and suffering is definitely not one to be around.'s

Really dark and strong in imagery, and really scary. I think this kind of a poem would make me shart. Beautifully deadly!
