Amera Beauty and Brains

Missing image

Grand Tetons

I held a photograph inside my hand
Majestic mountain peaks rose above the clouds
My eyes in awe beheld this sight so grand
My heart transferred to this place free of crowds

Amera
I saw her photograph pasted on the page
Golden light illuminated her breast
My savage heart set beating wouldn't assuage
My eyes in awe beheld a sight which blessed

My heart transferred to this place filled with love
Round sculpted face accented with a smile
A gift to those below from God above
Princess for her fair prince to walk the aisle

Behind the photo lay virtue and brains
Took me to new peaks above love's terrains

What a beautiful and fitting birthday poem for one of A.P's most valued members. I enjoyed this a lot.
