Come and write a poem with me
About my Teddy _____  
He’s as cute as he can be
So sit down in your _____

Pick up your pen, fill in the blanks
My Teddy _____
Will give you thanks

We’ll write about how we'll grow _____
As busy as a _____

As frisky as a little ______
And taller than a ______

Remember that when Teddy grows
We will grow tall too
For Teddy has the cutest ______

    Oh wonderful! This is just what the competition asked for and is perfect for a five year old.
    I think children should be encouraged to read and write poetry.

    Of course, I filled in all the blanks wondering if there was a subliminal message hidden within.

    You are a master at this sort of poetry, keeping things exactly right for young children is very difficult I find yet your poetry for them always reads so naturally, great stuff
