I've been played with, trifled, fooled, teased, and
Made out to be the big, bad beast.
Then taken on as a burden to bear,
Perhaps they thought that would make things square.

But I'm just a pup, once homeless and lone,
Who longs to sing a lover's song.
So I'll work all day and I'll work all night
To find a way to make wrong right.

....just musing

    Wonderful Poem

So glad I stopped by your page to read. This was a delight to read this morning. I enjoyed reading the rhyme and flow. Nice positive ending. You take care.

    Bless You,
    Sandy

Aha! Now in it's rightful place,
    this thoughtful piece.

Life lived and endured explained intriguingly,
    the future foretold as purposeful.

Such a great closing, those last two lines
leading to "to make wrong right."

    Bravo, PJ, for creating this.
