I've been played with, trifled, fooled, teased, and
Made out to be the big, bad beast.
Then taken on as a burden to bear,
Perhaps they thought that would make things square.

But I'm just a seedling, once homeless and lone,
Who longs to sing a lover's song.
So I'll work all day and I'll work all night
To find a way to make wrong right.

....just musing

You can't fool a veteran holder of places. Being nosy, I always check.

I know I've had these feelings before. Part sadness, part anger, but there is a tone of hope at the end...and of determination...I usually just give up and blame it all on someone else.

Muse away, it's about the only thing left that isn't taxed.
