Times can change in a moment,
just when all seems lost,
living a life of loneliness,
it comes with such a cost.
Was it just a simple word,
or the culmination of a phrase,
that cleared my view of life,
and spared me from this haze.
What is this magic spell,
that melts me to the heart,
feelings that left me long ago,
now make a brand new start.
What does love posses,
that takes me all the way,
that puts a shine in my eyes,
and a smile upon this day.
What is that sparkling glow,
that I see in sweet brown eyes,
that takes my breath away,
takes my heart to the skies.
What is this that I feel,
when she stands so close to me,
with a whisper of a touch,
she sets my lonesome soul free.
What is it that I knew,
for it no longer makes sense,
the touch of her warm lips,
brings emotions so intense.
What is this loving spell,
that takes me in so many ways,
that opens up all the doors,
in the loving of all my days.
