my glances not once wavers
as i silently watch you sleep
each movement each sigh
causes my heart to skip a beat
i look down and i watch you
every movement you make
almost scared to leave you
or even to look away
my every possessions
i would gladly surrender
for you are my life now

the smell of fresh powered
with a mixture of oil
floats up on a breezes
as i hum lullabies
on tip toes i walk
across the room on cloud 9
hesitate in the doorway
for just one more peek
your sweet little face
blankets pulled up under your chin
the soft snoring vibrations
once more bring me to tears
