Reminiscence of kisses long gone
And touches that once tickled my skin
Haunt me, as I am here now all alone
Playing these games I can't ever win
Dances that set my body on fire
Linger even when they're long past
Like an eagle in flight, I long to go higher
But so mortal, I can only go so fast
Spinning into dreams of my dreams
I'm a whole and a million pieces, so I've come to know
Separated and yet slipping into seams
As I try to set free what I knew so long ago
Staring at the sea I remember times before
Watching our figures dance one last time
Accepting the pain of picturing your eyes once more
