Hope in a dark night represented
As a slight tenuous blue light
Watching anxiously for that sweet light
Addicting as a drug
Harmful as a knife stabbed
As captivating as a bleeding wound
With a complicated origin
Such a macabre pleasure
Found in an innocent light
That addicting pleasure
Of blinding my own eyes
Crippled, harmed and wounded
Still pain seems not to matter
As long as those impaired eyes
Can watch that lovely light
Represented as blue lightning
Meaningless or meaningful
Always meant all ar nothing
Love, hate, hope, sorrow
Oh such a beautiful light
More painful than death
Its death itself in life
Can't understand why so addictive
Such a gruesome simple pleasure
Hideous feelings, hurtful sensations
Lights in darkness
Blinding weapons
Weakening lonely beings
Seeking desperately for hope...
