The quintessence zone!
do you dare behold it?
do you dare enter alone?
Enter the key on the xylophone
any tune that fits your whim
i wonder - what might you find
if you happen to waltz in?
i wonder - will you think it kind?
it would burn your mind!
no degree of fortitude
nor force nor eulogy
could enough praise thee,
oh quintessence zone.
fields of gold? unknown?
no surprise asperity
pressure plenty to succeed
and enough for insecurity
only justice to leave wake
no law or memory too opaque
to hold any child unsafe
yesterday's tomorrow's home
inside quintessence zone.
even darkest midnights shone
inside quintessence zone.
