Have you ever had a broken heart?
That was left beyond repair?
I'm sure everyone has,
And we all know that it's not that easy to bear.
Torn and ripped apart,
[Also known as my heart],
Sadness laced with a deep piercing pain,
And we never want to experience this again.
What do you say we go bash their cars?
Make them regret the day they were ever born,
Make them regret leaving such noticeable scars,
On all our hearts, so mangled and forlorn.
Let them know that they never won,
That we're not over and done,
That this is just the start of all the fun,
And that this is for all the broken ones.
We can still keep it together,
Even though it hurts,
Let's stay strong and keep going,
Without having to cover the markings with our shirts.
In the end, they're going to
Experience all our pain,
They're finally going to understand why,
Our smiles don't remain.
This is for the broken ones,
With all the broken hearts,
But we get on with our lives,
And we know how to restart.
