Infatuation draws an eclipse
over the wandering mind’s eye
without a second-glance of
reasonable recognition.
Personalities and traits of the originator
are dragged out of proportion
into a beautiful monster.
The eclipse of infatuation
creeps silently unto the unsuspecting victim
clawing at their eyes, blinding them from
the truth.
And the darkness swallows them entirely.
No going back, only forward.
Quick, indecisive actions.
Feeling, blindly, into the darkness.
Then light peeks around the shadow.
The eclipse lifts slowly-
revealing the world at large-
and the eyes can see once again.

A great write(: very sensational and fantastic. I loved the paradox
"into a beautiful monster." even if it was unintended it was great(:

I liked this, but I didn't really feel any emotion.
and emotion is what makes good poetry, for me anyways.
you are a brilliant writer.
this poem was beautiful.
