Thin grey smoke rising,
A fragrance of flowers and fruit,
Rising in the night,
Awakening the souls of the forest,
Of the trees, the creatures, seen and unseen,
Waking them up from their long slumber..
The Girl with the incense,
She walks in the forest,
Her eyes flickering in the moonlight;
A pretty young lass, innocent, and pure..
Yet dressed in black.. as she walks in the night.
Silver incense rising,
Mixing with the fresh air of the forest,
Mixing with the magic in the woods,
Mingling with the trees, ruffling with their leaves,
Mingling with the creatures, playing with their noses.
Though unknown to her,
That night the lass was called
“The Incense Lady”
And for long, she has walked many woods
Spreading her mesmerizing incense…

Hmm. I liked this. Very well written, especially if your muse isnt working all that well. Sorry for taking so long to judge the contest and good luck.

Okay I love it particularly these lines
"Awakening the souls of the forest,
Of the trees, the creatures, seen and unseen"
