This water colour world fades from memory
Imagery never clear
Like sand slipping from my hands
You penetrated my bubble and left me delicate
With nothing to numb
You need a crane to lift me from this gutter
Cover me in caution tape and leave me for the rats
Just another crack in the sidewalk
It will break your mother's back, belive me
Why believe me though
I'm silver, not gold
Soul grown cold
Tap my spine, with beautiful lullabies
Stars spinning above and my head spinning within
Blocking your heart
From my flat string of emotions
Nine seconds to deliver
From your hips to mine
I count down and pray for safe landing
The print on the bottle says 40%
As I lose it all
Your pointless chatter make me sick
And this water-colour world fades to grey
