Those who understand me...very little
I'm beginning to get back where I was
....the exact opposite of brittle (smile)
Once ...my heart was broken by a heartless crook
But I'm beginning to find the pieces....
You see, I have a different outlook.
You may not realize it...but talking to you has made me grow
And you've given me something I can't explain
...in a way you only think you know
You said happiness is only for those who create it....
But everyone is meant to be happy..Especially you
Yours is waiting....
The sun rises and sets...the day is drawing to an end
I smile to myself...
Knowing I'll always have you as a friend
My spirit is happy; I'm glad that you're here
My days are a little brighter..
Thanks for always having an open ear...
I sit and think hoping that everything works out
I can almost see a glimpse of your future....
I promise I'll always be here for you, don't ever doubt..
The truth is...you are more than you realize..and I see more than you think I see
You're so caring and unselfish
And that's something that has never been more clear to me...
But something that I never saw..that I now realize..
This was never a spur of the moment thing...
An angel sent to help me...you're my angel in disguise

While reading this, you were able to make me think of my own friends and how blessed I am to have crossed paths with them. Thank you for reminding all of us to never take those we love for granted. They're a given gift to us all. Excellent writing and a beautiful tribute to your friend.

Touching
A nice and cheerful poem. It describes friendship in such a nice way...as someone parting the fog of one's mind. The rhymes were a little contrived but the whole thing reads well.

wow... i really love this poem... it's been a while since ive read something this uplifting... but i know how you feel... you seem like your my angel... you help me out more than you know... and whoever this friend is better realize how important of a person you are.
