Good and bad lay intertwined,
Cannot choose what stays or goes,
Vines of memories take me over,
Torturing this twisted soul.
Something good that ended badly,
Nothing bad that ended good,
Yet this life has not yet ended,
My past remains misunderstood.
Black holes swallow times and places,
Where the ferns of sadness grow,
Blanks in memory are protection,
From the things I can't yet know;
Feelings, unshakable, I can't let go.

I dated a woman who fits this description. She could not tell a chronological story of her life. I never knew what all of the skeleton's were that were in her closet. She could not even say for certain where she lived during one 3 year time period.
Great job. I do understand what you are saying.
