Before pursuing the most beautiful of all loves,
over time, disagreement we fed,
know the loneliness of two and as many pains
finding the road of thousand curves.
Before mucilage eyes, in one another, of love lost,
a deep attraction has come to all extremes,
broken hearts now on opposite paths,
if we look, we really do not.
Before our fingers always, intertwined together
as in endless hours of hanging lovers,
not over images of past moments
not to recognise our bare hands.
Oh, God, this is really ironic that our lives,
from both of us, not a recall, not even a picture,
we both talked of love for an unknown
and spent so many verses in a mirage.
